SUMMARY:Winston Knolls Home and Garden Club
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Winston Knolls Home and Garden Club invites Winston Knolls residents to its January 17\, 2019\, meeting to be held at the Springfield District Government Center\, 6140 Rolling Road\, beginning at 7:00 pm.  “D-Day and World War II Tour:  Pictorial Highlights” will be presented by Bart and Carolyn Kramer.  In June\, 1944\, our “Greatest Generation” boarded their vessels and sailed across the English Channel into fortified Europe.  Seventy-four years later\, in June\, 2017\, the Kramers took part in an escorted tour of four European countries\, WWI and WWII battlefields\, and the cities of Reims\, Frankfurt\, Nuremberg\, and Munich\, among others.  Come join them as they review the history\, architecture\, and sights covered in this 12-Day tour.
